1. If you have a "Yahoo Toobar" in your Internet Explorer Browser, you should see an ICON of a pencil on the left of your Yahoo Toolbar next to the Yahoo search engine, it's called (Toolbar Settings menu) Click on o that pencil Icon & scroll down & select CLEAR SEARCH HISTORY.
2. Still in your Internet Explorer browser the top under TOOLS select INTERNET OPTIONS then GENERAL – Under Browsing History click on the DELETE button to remove all the Internet Browsing History – VERY SAFE TO DO.
3. Am not sure what programme is on your operating system [...]

I think you are using a WordPress.com blog. In WordPress.com blogs you can only edit the theme css file that too only if you buy an upgrade. So you won't find the editor option under appearances.

My favourite HTML editor is Notepad2 (similar to Windows Notepad), but it also provides syntax highlighting.

If you want a wysiwig (what you see is what you get) editor, I usually suggest Kompozer.

I believe it is what type of code is included in the page. A .php site will actually contain PHP code in it, you just can't see it. .asp Or active server page does have PHP that takes things from tables in the database constantly. It is quite necessary.
