This was at Revere Beach which is a 3 mile stretch of beach right outside the city of Boston. It has a historic bad rap of being dirty but the city has done a great job cleaning it up. They have a sand sculpture festival each year and it is a fun thing to bring the kids too both for the sand sculptures but also for the planes.
