I need to move my 2 websites and I want to choose a good host. Is there somewhere I can read and evaluate differents hosting companies?

I am looking for a best web hosting service in India. I can’t find any reviews anywhere. Where can I find?

Why can’t I find any reviews anywhere? Is Indian web hosting is so bad that no one dares to review any? More over it is very difficult to search for reviews on the net. All the search results lead to only private ads but not to review sites. Please help find unbiased review about web hosting services in India and Bangalore.

You don’t really need to have hosting in India. You can actually have a web host that’s anywhere in the world. I’m in the UK but my web host is in the USA and they’re great.

When choosing a web host it’s of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too:

Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites.

Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges.

Uptime: There’s no point in having a website if people can’t see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?

Number of websites allowed: If you’re looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?

Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.

Dedicated Server Hosting

Dedicated server is the one where you rent the use of a whole machine. This can be used to host one or more of your websites. Since you are renting the use of a machine, you have total control over the software that will be installed on the machine. A major benefit of this kind of hosting is that this allows increased traffic to your sites. .

Reseller Web Hosting

A reseller is a company or individual that purchases goods from another company and sells them at a higher price to another company or to other customers. Does anybody can offer a best web hosting information site that contain detailed web hosting plans feature? I had found some, but all those web hosting sites only list a little general feature, space, bandwidth, price… It’s hard to compare those web hosting plans or review all those web hosting companies one by one. so more detailed web hosting plans information is appreciate.

It’s fine if it has ads.
It needs to be "bloggish"

You need to:
1. Register a domain name. Go to http://webdomainregistration.org and select one that suits you. They cost about $10.

2. Get a free account at Hostgator. This is the best web hosting company and most people would agree. To get free account, go to: http://freehostingsites.org/hostgator
